It’s a Girl!

We’re getting ready with ribbons, lace, and pearl because we’re having a baby girl!
Jerry and I chose to find out the sex our our baby in a creative way. I saw this idea on Pintrest and immediately decided this is how I wanted to find out. At the doctors office we had the nurse write down what we were having and I gave the envelope to Pearl Photography. My artsy sister Dina offered to paint the box for us and then the photographers filled it with the correct colored balloons. Before enjoying lunch on Sunday we had our families come out and be surprised with us as we opened the box and let out the balloons.

Painting her heart away.
Dina recruited Dad and Lydia to help her with the painting.
…And then things got out of hand.
A kiss before finding out our exciting news.
It’s a GIRL!
Hugs, hugs, and more hugs. Everyone is so very happy for us!

More hugs

Nonna (Italian for grandmother) and grandmother-of-4 marvel at the balloons stuck in the trees.

Both of them wanted it to be a girl.

Cake time. Kristina thinks she’s too cool for cake and Dina very obviously doesn’t need anymore sugar, while Jerry is hoping he’ll get a second helping.

With all but one of my lovely sisters.

Another one with my beautiful sisters.
