Baked sweet potato fries are a regular in our house. They’re healthy and BOTH kids love them. Elon has 2 teeth (I’m sure he’s working on more) and he takes these puppies down without a problem.
Ingredients:
12 Sweet Potatoes
Olive Oil
Salt
Garlic Powder
Dried Parsley
[dipping sauce]
1/2 Cup Ketchup
1/2 Cup Mayo
2 tsp Onion powder
1 tsp Celery Salt
Sriracha (optional)
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 450°F. Peel and cut the sweet potato. I like to make shorter and thicker fries because they don’t break as easily and longer ones.
2. In a largo bowl add the olive oil, salt, garlic powder, and dried parsley over the sweet potato. I used arbitrary amount of everything, just make sure that the fries are well coated.
3. Bake the fries at 450°F for 15-20 minutes or until the ends begin to turn crispy. Bake time will vary depending on the thickness of your fries. Also, remember to space the fries on your pan. They don’t need to be far apart, but don’t let them touch each other while baking.
4. To make the dipping sauce mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. Enjoy the fries hot or a room temperature.
