Thanks to everyone who joined us to celebrate our sweet Cella turning 2! We all had a blast. I’ve shared recipes from the party menu and some of our best photos. A special thanks to my sisters and MIL for all the help with this party, we couldn’t have done it without you. Enjoy!
Missing our eldest and wisest sister 😉
Sisters are for having fun.

Kisses for Nonna
Too bad little Elon was asleep for these pictures.
My cheese board included: Aged Gouda, Cana de Oveja, Blue Cheese, Soppresata, and crackers.
I used the recipe from Natasha’s Kitchen for the spinach artichoke dip.
These baked sweet potato fries and dip were delicious. Find my recipe here.
To make the Brussel sprouts I halved them and then mixed them with olive oil, salt, and pepper until they were well coated. Then I baked them at 450°F for about 20 minutes. Some of the larger pieces took a bit longer to brown.
My vegetarian eggplant rollatini was an adaptation from the Forks and Knives vegan verion.
My sister dina came up with a few crafts for the creative corner which included flowers, bunnies, and butterflies. Thank God for the beautiful weather, we were able to use the back porch for the messy creative corner.
I tried to keep mu dessert table clean and springy. I found some curly willow to put in the large center vase and decorated the house with yellow and purple tulips.
A friend of mine shared this amazing recipe with me about 6 months ago and I’ve had some of these made and in the freezer ever since. They are raw, sugar-free cocoa balls. Find the recipe here.
Oh sweet Madeleines, why must you be so delicious? I ordered these from Alon’s Bakery.
Cella’s birthday cake this year was vanilla with buttercream icing (I asked for strawberry filling but they must’ve forgotten). I ordered my cake from Publix. It was delicious (we’re still eating leftovers) even though they forgot the strawberry filling. I found the cute cake topper on Etsy from the Athena and Eugenia shop.
Our goose became shy once she realized that everyone was singing happy birthday to her. So when it came time to blow out her candles she needed help. Maybe next year she’ll be able to blow out her own candles.
Sugar high in the making. The kids were definitely amped up after the cake.
Elon with uncle Sergey. This child is growing so fast, he might weigh more than Cella by his first birthday (in 4 months).
Nom nom nom!
Our sweet strawberry girl.
Cella tried to burn the cake calories before the party was even over.
Sophie, Cella, and Sloan, sweetness cubed!
